Split Rock Distillery for a dirt road we travel often—the shortcut between our two homes. It’s the only shortcut we’ve ever taken to bring you Maine’s first organic spirits. When we founded Split Rock, we promised ourselves we would handcraft our spirits the right way. That meant the long way: authentic, small-batch grain to glass, selling no spirit not our own. We spent evenings and weekends building a distillery and tasting room by hand in an old barn on historic Route One. We sourced organic grains and fruits from the fields of farmers we count as friends. We demanded organic sugars and drew waters so pure locals still harvest winter ice. We refined our fermentations again and again to showcase the unique signatures of our still. And through it all, we gathered knowledge, inspiration, a helping hand, and an honest opinion from other distillers, family, and friends, and every stranger fairly met.
Our family was there at the start of the Kentucky bourbon business. It all began when a man named Jacob Beam sold his first barrels of corn whiskey. Seven generations later, brothers Stephen and Paul Beam started their own chapter of the family history book as the proud Kentucky bourbon distillers behind Limestone Branch Distillery. You can taste that pride in every pour of our award-winning craft spirits. Yellowstone Select Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey A delicate fusion of flavors from seventh-generation distillers, this straight bourbon features a handpicked blend of 4- and 7-year-old bourbons, for an exclusive small-batch whiskey that honors its deep family origins. 93 proof / 46.5% ABV
Bourbon Whiskey is a distinctly American product that has been produced in this country since the eighteenth century. Bourbon can be made in any U.S. state but the vast majority of it hails from Kentucky and can claim to be world-renowned Kentucky Bourbon. The site of the Green River Distillery has housed distilleries for nearly 130 years. The original Green River Distillery, built-in 1885, was the first in Owensboro and a major producer of Kentucky Bourbon for over 30 years. In 1918 the entire distillery burned to the ground. It was rebuilt in 1936 after prohibition, and most of the buildings on our grounds today date back to the late 1930s. In 1940 it was purchased by the Medley family and continued to produce significant quantities of Bourbon as the Charles Medley Distillers Kentucky until 1993. Here is a random sampling of just some of the bourbon brands that have been made on the site of our distillery. Some of these brands have moved on to different distilleries over time and some are no longer in production: Green River Ezra Brooks Mellow Corn Medley Brothers Kentucky Beau Old Medley Five Brothers
OUR VISION FOR PROTECTING AND CONSERVING NATURAL RESOURCES The art of making fine bourbon first took place on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in 1812. You get that sense of history. The history of bourbon is the history of Kentucky, is the history of the United States. BOOK A TOUR
From start to finish, every step of production occurs under our control in our facility in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Our more traditional methods of mashing, fermenting, distilling and aging require more effort and are more costly than other more modern methods. Nevertheless, we understand that exceptional results often require patience. Our patience and hard work provide you with the finest quality of artisan spirits.
Luxco’s drive to grow has quickly allowed us to become one of the top USA independent producers of alcohol beverage products as we produce and market a wide array of products across all categories. In 2015, as our whiskey brands continued to grow and expand, we realized we were going to have to build our own site to service our needs going forward. As such, we began the hunt for our very own distillery site. Kentucky, with its rich southern culture, abundant natural resources of both high-quality grains and fine limestone-filtered water, was the natural fit. Building our own distillery represents a natural evolution for Luxco. We have been steeped in the bourbon business for over forty years, having others distill for us to service our needs. We learned from them and now understand that it is our time to do it ourselves in order to fill the growing demand for our products.

WHEN THE CLOUDS ROLL IN, SO DOES THE FLAVOR. Made by hand in Southeast Alaska. With a touch of Kentucky. Crafted with the same attention to detail that a boat-maker brings to his trade, Boatwright Bourbon is a blend of two Straight Bourbon Whiskeys: Our own recipe made completely from grain-to-barrel in our small craft distillery in Southeast Alaska, and a finely-made Straight Bourbon Whiskey from our friends in Kentucky. The character is so unique, and so local, it’s like a postcard from Alaska. We worked hard to make this Boatwright Bourbon excellent. We hope you enjoy it.

Wyoming Whiskey makes bourbon in small batches at our distillery in Kirby, Wyoming. From day one, every drop of Wyoming Whiskey was made in Kirby and aged in one of our six rick houses. That’s not true of every whiskey you run into. We don’t pass judgment, but it means a lot to us and we hope it means something to you. Double Cask Bourbon Whiskey Whiskey gets its color and character from the cask in which it ages and matures. This Double Cask whiskey goes through the process twice. The first five years of maturation in a new charred oak barrel make it a bourbon. That bourbon then experiences secondary maturation in decades-old casks seasoned by Pedro Ximenez sherry that adds a touch of sweetness and yields a smooth and impressively complex spirit. TASTING NOTES COLOR: copper to mahogany NOSE: autumnal notes of dried apricot, mission fig, and dried date PALATE: stewed prune and black raisin, with hints of candied orange peel; vanilla buttercream and toffee underneath MOUTHFEEL: rich, sticky cinnamon roll with raisins and spice FINISH: dark dried fruit, followed by warming brown baking spices
As the first distillery to open in Iowa since Prohibition, Cedar Ridge is preserving the legacy of a lost craft. Our techniques let each batch of our whiskey take on the character of Iowa’s land and climate. So from the very first sip, every step of the process is evident – from grain to glass. For that’s what makes Cedar Ridge Whiskey Authentic by Nature. SLIPKNOT NO. 9 RESERVE Slipknot and Cedar Ridge Distillery – two groups of people born and raised in Iowa, and committed to quality and hard work. We collaborated on “No. 9 Whiskey”, which in addition to Iowa corn, gets some extra spice from its rye content. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Live life, and always be safe. – Cheers, Clown A blend of 4-5 yr. old straight rye and straight bourbon mashed, fermented, distilled, and aged at the Cedar Ridge Distillery.

Bourbon was born right here in the heart of Kentucky. Steeped in charred oak barrels in the ideal climate of Kentucky’s hot summers and snowy winters; the tradition carries on today, almost entirely unchanged. In 2012, Steve Thompson, Chris Miller and Mike Loring came together with an idea to create a place for people to come and ‘bottle their dreams’ in the old Crestwood, Kentucky Ice Cream Distributors, Inc. building. Steve’s many years of experience in the spirits industry played a big role in the inspiration and power behind the Kentucky Artisan Distillery concept. It would be the first contract distillery in Kentucky, and the only production sized farm-to-bottle distillery capable of distilling as little as one barrel for a special occasion on up to over 1,800 barrels a year for partners like Jefferson’s Reserve. They would do this using only pot stills, and running the distillery by hand. As bourbon has gained popularity in recent years, things have changed a little bit. The Jefferson’s brand has grown, and has adopted Kentucky Artisan Distillery as its official home. We take great pride in being the home to this innovative brand, which still stays true to the rich heritage and tradition […]
We’re not here just to churn whiskey out, But to make something special to this area that draws on what is particular about our region. Our location is special because we are at the intersection of the Sierra Foothills and the Sacramento Valley in Northern California. The weather and agriculture around us are unique to here and we emphasize that when you visit us in our Tasting Room. Our operations, Amador Distillery & Dry Diggings Distillery, were started independently of one another in 2012 and brought together in 2015 with a focus on our locally grown fruit and grain. Merging the two facilities into one, gave us to the opportunity to focus these efforts. We are active in production weekly and have barrels aging past 10 years. Our small production capacity allows us to focus on high-quality and local products. We create spirits from beginning to end by working with local farmers, vintners, and brewers. We currently produce over 25 labels, but only distribute the more traditional types of products. We ferment, distill, blend and bottle all products by hand on-site in El Dorado Hills. However, we do also blend some of our whiskies, and our labels clearly state if […]

The story of Woodinville doesn’t begin with a 100-year-old recipe or generations of family distillers. It begins with two best friends and a dream. The dream is to make the greatest craft whiskey in the world by bringing the time-honored traditions of bourbon production into a craft environment — using the highest quality locally grown grains, the best barrels and coopers in the world, the most technologically advanced distilling equipment, and the mentorship of an industry icon, David Pickerell, former Master Distiller for Maker’s Mark. And while the story is still unfolding, after being awarded “Craft Whiskey of the Year” and “Craft Rye Whiskey of the Year” two years in a row by the American Distilling Institute, things are headed in the right direction. 14509 Woodinville Redmond Rd. Inspired by our city’s rich distilling history, Chattanooga Whiskey was founded in 2011 with a mission to bring back “Whiskey to the People.” Following the success of our community-powered Vote Whiskey campaign, we eventually became the first distillery in Chattanooga in over a century. In 2015, we began the patient process of crafting our malt-forward style of straight bourbon whiskey we call Tennessee High Malt. After 8 years in the making, our Tennessee High Malt was released in August 2019, marking a new era in our company history with a whiskey that celebrates the future as much as the history that got us here today. Opened in March 2015 and located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, our Experimental Distillery is the first distillery to craft whiskey in Chattanooga in over 100 years. With over 100 different barrels maturing in the aging cellar, every visit to the Experimental Distillery is an exploration of the past, present and future of hand-crafted bourbon. Stop by for a tour and tasting and to check out our latest releases.
