Our family was there at the start of the Kentucky bourbon business. It all began when a man named Jacob Beam sold his first barrels of corn whiskey. Seven generations later, brothers Stephen and Paul Beam started their own chapter of the family history book as the proud Kentucky bourbon distillers behind Limestone Branch Distillery. You can taste that pride in every pour of our award-winning craft spirits. Yellowstone Select Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey A delicate fusion of flavors from seventh-generation distillers, this straight bourbon features a handpicked blend of 4- and 7-year-old bourbons, for an exclusive small-batch whiskey that honors its deep family origins. 93 proof / 46.5% ABV

Based in Rapid City, SD, owner Jerry Sailer, of Rapid City, has turned a seven-generation, Sailer family recipe into reality by producing flavored liqueur in South Dakota. Jerry Sailer was educated in the art of “making alcohol” by his father when he was 15 years old. Jerry’s father also learned the art of “making alcohol” when he was 15. In fact, the five previous father and son relationships of the family shared the same bond. Making alcohol has been in our blood for a long time. The flavors you’re tasting today didn’t happen overnight. Contraband flavored liqueurs have been perfected from generation to generation. In fact, Jerry recalls the beverage his father passed onto him as tasting like “turpentine with a little lighter fluid thrown in for flavoring,” but, “it got the job done.” From that point on, Jerry’s dream was to own and open his own distillery. SMOOTH BOURBON Bourbon taste. No bourbon bite. It’s just dangerous. Contraband Smooth Bourbon is a bourbon-flavored liqueur that invokes all of your favorite bourbon tastes. Smoky Oak. Vanilla. Caramel. Spices. All of it in a flavored liqueur that always goes down smooth after hitting the tongue with a strong flavor. We promise […]
Preservation’s farmhouse distillery and historic barns are set in the rolling hills of Kentucky Bluegrass Country, right along the Bourbon Trail. The surrounding green pastureland encompasses what is now Preservation Farms and represents our commitment to the art of slow distilling, and the goal of sustainability. When you visit our property, you will understand why we chose this specific land to create the big, rich flavors we’ve dreamed of distilling for years. Our farm and distillery sit on 40 beautiful acres and we can’t wait to share it and our unique micro-batch bourbon and whiskey with you.
WHEN THE CLOUDS ROLL IN, SO DOES THE FLAVOR. Made by hand in Southeast Alaska. With a touch of Kentucky. Crafted with the same attention to detail that a boat-maker brings to his trade, Boatwright Bourbon is a blend of two Straight Bourbon Whiskeys: Our own recipe made completely from grain-to-barrel in our small craft distillery in Southeast Alaska, and a finely-made Straight Bourbon Whiskey from our friends in Kentucky. The character is so unique, and so local, it’s like a postcard from Alaska. We worked hard to make this Boatwright Bourbon excellent. We hope you enjoy it.
In the rural hills of Wyoming County, where the pavement turns to dirt and the cornfields line the road, we set up shop in a small barn to distill craft spirits. This humble endeavor began by chance with the arrival of a homemade pot-still via family friend and southern moonshiner “Cowboy Bob”. It was here that Bob taught us the basics of distilling. In 2012, we filed for our DSP and NYS Class D Farm permits. This newly created license required at least 75% New York State grown produce to be used for the production of Spirits (we use 100%). This law allows for the direct sale to consumers, liquor stores, bars and restaurants without having to sell through a distributor. Thus making it possible to compete with large producers and promote local agriculture. By 2016 we decided to bring the Buffalo Distilling Company back to where its’ original namesake was founded in 1883 “The City Of Good Neighbors”, Buffalo. As luck would have it we were able to work with a group of developers revitalizing the historical Larkin district within the city. The Larkin Development group leased and eventually sold us the old Duchmann and Son’s carriage factory built […]

Inspired by our city’s rich distilling history, Chattanooga Whiskey was founded in 2011 with a mission to bring back “Whiskey to the People.” Following the success of our community-powered Vote Whiskey campaign, we eventually became the first distillery in Chattanooga in over a century. In 2015, we began the patient process of crafting our malt-forward style of straight bourbon whiskey we call Tennessee High Malt. After 8 years in the making, our Tennessee High Malt was released in August 2019, marking a new era in our company history with a whiskey that celebrates the future as much as the history that got us here today. Opened in March 2015 and located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, our Experimental Distillery is the first distillery to craft whiskey in Chattanooga in over 100 years. With over 100 different barrels maturing in the aging cellar, every visit to the Experimental Distillery is an exploration of the past, present and future of hand-crafted bourbon. Stop by for a tour and tasting and to check out our latest releases.

Bourbon was born right here in the heart of Kentucky. Steeped in charred oak barrels in the ideal climate of Kentucky’s hot summers and snowy winters; the tradition carries on today, almost entirely unchanged. In 2012, Steve Thompson, Chris Miller and Mike Loring came together with an idea to create a place for people to come and ‘bottle their dreams’ in the old Crestwood, Kentucky Ice Cream Distributors, Inc. building. Steve’s many years of experience in the spirits industry played a big role in the inspiration and power behind the Kentucky Artisan Distillery concept. It would be the first contract distillery in Kentucky, and the only production sized farm-to-bottle distillery capable of distilling as little as one barrel for a special occasion on up to over 1,800 barrels a year for partners like Jefferson’s Reserve. They would do this using only pot stills, and running the distillery by hand. As bourbon has gained popularity in recent years, things have changed a little bit. The Jefferson’s brand has grown, and has adopted Kentucky Artisan Distillery as its official home. We take great pride in being the home to this innovative brand, which still stays true to the rich heritage and tradition […]
The Breckenridge Distillery is the “World’s Highest Distillery”. Founded in 2008, the Breckenridge Distillery is most widely known for its blended bourbon whiskey, a high-rye mash American-style whiskey. Breckenridge Bourbon is one of the most highly awarded crafted bourbons; 4x winner of Best American Blended (2016, 17, 18, and 2019) from the World Whiskies Awards and Bourbon of the Year in 2011 at the Int’l Wine & Spirits Competition, and 2019 Colorado Distillery of the Year at the New York Int’l Spirits Competition. In 2018, Breckenridge Distillery won the coveted Icons of Whisky for Brand Innovator of the Year. Since coming online in 2008 and releasing its first vodka and bourbon three years later, Breckenridge Distillery has quickly become an award-winning producer of fine spirits, being designated one of the top three bourbons in the U.S. How it all came to be, however, stems from a mix of just the right ingredients, a hint of luck and a deep love for quality whiskey.

THE NEW FRONTIER In 1987, Thomas E. Bulleit, Jr., fulfilled a lifelong dream of reviving an old family bourbon recipe by starting the Bulleit Distilling Company. Inspired by his great-great-grandfather Augustus Bulleit, who made a high-rye whiskey between 1830-1860, Tom left a successful law practice and risked everything to experience life on the frontier. Today, we’re not the only ones who are glad he did. A WHISKEY NEARLY LOST FOREVER A tavern keeper in 1830s Louisville, Kentucky, Augustus Bulleit was dedicated to a single goal: the creation of a bourbon unique in flavor. After experimenting with countless varieties, he finally came upon a bourbon with the character he had long sought after. One fateful day, while transporting his barrels of bourbon from Kentucky to New Orleans, Augustus Bulleit vanished. What happened is still unknown, and his creation nearly disappeared into history along with him. A LEGEND TODAY To this day, Bulleit™ Bourbon is distilled and aged in the Bulleit family tradition. High rye content gives it a bold, spicy character with a distinctively smooth, clean finish. Kentucky limestone-filtered water provides a foundation for the bourbon’s character, while charred American oak barrels lend a smoky backbone. Our aging philosophy is simple: […]

Boundary Oak Distillery is nestled in the knobs of central Kentucky. With its beautiful woods, waterfall, and natural limestone spring the land was clearly meant to be home to one of Kentucky’s great bourbon distilleries. However, because of prohibition bourbon enthusiasts have been robbed of this asset for nearly a century. In fact, the land has most recently been known as a manufacturing plant that closed in 2009. Fortunate for us, Master Distiller Brent Goodin had a vision for something more. You see, the Goodin Family has been a part of Kentucky for over 200 years. Brent’s ancestor Samuel Goodin established Goodin Fort at the site of old Boston, which ultimately became Bardstown, the Bourbon Capital of the World ™. Add to this Brent’s grandmother and uncle’s years of hard work in the bourbon industry and it’s no wonder how Brent could see a distillery on this land. After months of research, paperwork, preparation, and an investment of nearly 1 million dollars, Boundary Oak Distillery received its licensure. On October 18, 2013, the first legal production of liquor in Hardin County, Kentucky since prohibition began. Our Kentucky Moonshine 101 proof, Kentucky Moonshine 121 proof, and Kentucky Amber are now available at […]

David Meier, the owner of Glenns Creek Distilling, has always had a love for where things are made, how they are made, and the level of craftsmanship that went into their making. This love of creation was one of the driving forces behind his career in manufacturing and yearning to create something of his own. He happened upon the Old Crow Distillery. Seeing the exorbitant level of craftsmanship that went into the old buildings and seeing the state that they were in after being abandoned for 30 years brought up a mix of sadness for the current state and intrigue for what it must have been like in its prime. David started to research the history of The Old Crow Distillery to get a better feel of what role the old distillery played in the bourbon industry and Kentucky. He recreated a new bourbon produced in the style of Dr. Crow; something that Dr. Crow would drink and approve of. The road ahead to restore and preserve these great buildings is a long one, but one that everybody at the distillery is willing to undertake. 3501 McCracken Pike, Frankfort, KY 40601

Wyoming Whiskey makes bourbon in small batches at our distillery in Kirby, Wyoming. From day one, every drop of Wyoming Whiskey was made in Kirby and aged in one of our six rick houses. That’s not true of every whiskey you run into. We don’t pass judgment, but it means a lot to us and we hope it means something to you. Double Cask Bourbon Whiskey Whiskey gets its color and character from the cask in which it ages and matures. This Double Cask whiskey goes through the process twice. The first five years of maturation in a new charred oak barrel make it a bourbon. That bourbon then experiences secondary maturation in decades-old casks seasoned by Pedro Ximenez sherry that adds a touch of sweetness and yields a smooth and impressively complex spirit. TASTING NOTES COLOR: copper to mahogany NOSE: autumnal notes of dried apricot, mission fig, and dried date PALATE: stewed prune and black raisin, with hints of candied orange peel; vanilla buttercream and toffee underneath MOUTHFEEL: rich, sticky cinnamon roll with raisins and spice FINISH: dark dried fruit, followed by warming brown baking spices
