TO WILLETT FRIENDS AND FAMILY FAR AND WIDE We appreciate your patience and support during this time. We are excited to begin our “Taste of Willett” and our “Distillery and Production Tour with Tasting” experiences. Book your experience below, we can’t wait to host you. If you have any questions, please call us at (502) 501-9699. Once on the distillery grounds, one begins to understand just how unique the distillery and its surroundings are. Great efforts to restore the main distillery building, cistern room, aging warehouses, and many other aspects of the grounds have left the property totally transformed, with more exciting developments in the works. From underground, spring-fed lakes, to the Kentucky split-face limestone exterior, to our old turn-of-the-century belt and pulley fan systems running throughout the distillery and visitor center, it truly makes for a memorable trip.
The story of Woodinville doesn’t begin with a 100-year-old recipe or generations of family distillers. It begins with two best friends and a dream. The dream is to make the greatest craft whiskey in the world by bringing the time-honored traditions of bourbon production into a craft environment — using the highest quality locally grown grains, the best barrels and coopers in the world, the most technologically advanced distilling equipment, and the mentorship of an industry icon, David Pickerell, former Master Distiller for Maker’s Mark. And while the story is still unfolding, after being awarded “Craft Whiskey of the Year” and “Craft Rye Whiskey of the Year” two years in a row by the American Distilling Institute, things are headed in the right direction. 14509 Woodinville Redmond Rd. Split Rock Distillery for a dirt road we travel often—the shortcut between our two homes. It’s the only shortcut we’ve ever taken to bring you Maine’s first organic spirits. When we founded Split Rock, we promised ourselves we would handcraft our spirits the right way. That meant the long way: authentic, small-batch grain to glass, selling no spirit not our own. We spent evenings and weekends building a distillery and tasting room by hand in an old barn on historic Route One. We sourced organic grains and fruits from the fields of farmers we count as friends. We demanded organic sugars and drew waters so pure locals still harvest winter ice. We refined our fermentations again and again to showcase the unique signatures of our still. And through it all, we gathered knowledge, inspiration, a helping hand, and an honest opinion from other distillers, family, and friends, and every stranger fairly met.
LEGENDARY MEN, LEGENDARY SPIRITS Much of our brotherhood was forged in fire during the first days after the 9/11 attacks. Immediately following this affront on our nation, the USA responded with a daring insertion of small teams of Green Berets into northern Afghanistan. The Northern Alliance successfully overthrew Mazar-i-Sharif, a Taliban stronghold, with the support of these brave men. This region’s inhospitable, mountainous terrain made efforts and enemy engagements on wild Afghan horses a necessity for one Special Operations team (ODA595). Nicknamed the “Horse Soldiers”, all these brave men are honored today by America’s Response Monument overlooking “Ground Zero” in New York City. We make history and continue to live legendary lives by instilling family values, adventurous spirits, and pride into Horse Soldier Bourbon Whiskey.
Our family was there at the start of the Kentucky bourbon business. It all began when a man named Jacob Beam sold his first barrels of corn whiskey. Seven generations later, brothers Stephen and Paul Beam started their own chapter of the family history book as the proud Kentucky bourbon distillers behind Limestone Branch Distillery. You can taste that pride in every pour of our award-winning craft spirits. Luxco’s drive to grow has quickly allowed us to become one of the top USA independent producers of alcohol beverage products as we produce and market a wide array of products across all categories. In 2015, as our whiskey brands continued to grow and expand, we realized we were going to have to build our own site to service our needs going forward. As such, we began the hunt for our very own distillery site. Kentucky, with its rich southern culture, abundant natural resources of both high-quality grains and fine limestone-filtered water, was the natural fit. Building our own distillery represents a natural evolution for Luxco. We have been steeped in the bourbon business for over forty years, having others distill for us to service our needs. We learned from them and now understand that it is our time to do it ourselves in order to fill the growing demand for our products.

From start to finish, every step of production occurs under our control in our facility in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Our more traditional methods of mashing, fermenting, distilling and aging require more effort and are more costly than other more modern methods. Inspired by our city’s rich distilling history, Chattanooga Whiskey was founded in 2011 with a mission to bring back “Whiskey to the People.” Following the success of our community-powered Vote Whiskey campaign, we eventually became the first distillery in Chattanooga in over a century. In 2015, we began the patient process of crafting our malt-forward style of straight bourbon whiskey we call Tennessee High Malt. After 8 years in the making, our Tennessee High Malt was released in August 2019, marking a new era in our company history with a whiskey that celebrates the future as much as the history that got us here today. Opened in March 2015 and located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, our Experimental Distillery is the first distillery to craft whiskey in Chattanooga in over 100 years. With over 100 different barrels maturing in the aging cellar, every visit to the Experimental Distillery is an exploration of the past, present and future of hand-crafted bourbon. Stop by for a tour and tasting and to check out our latest releases.
WHEN THE CLOUDS ROLL IN, SO DOES THE FLAVOR. Made by hand in Southeast Alaska. With a touch of Kentucky. Crafted with the same attention to detail that a boat-maker brings to his trade, Boatwright Bourbon is a blend of two Straight Bourbon Whiskeys: Our own recipe made completely from grain-to-barrel in our small craft distillery in Southeast Alaska, and a finely-made Straight Bourbon Whiskey from our friends in Kentucky. The character is so unique, and so local, it’s like a postcard from Alaska. We worked hard to make this Boatwright Bourbon excellent. We hope you enjoy it.
The Breckenridge Distillery is the “World’s Highest Distillery”. Founded in 2008, the Breckenridge Distillery is most widely known for its blended bourbon whiskey, a high-rye mash American-style whiskey. Breckenridge Bourbon is one of the most highly awarded crafted bourbons; 4x winner of Best American Blended (2016, 17, 18, and 2019) from the World Whiskies Awards and Bourbon of the Year in 2011 at the Int’l Wine & Spirits Competition, and 2019 Colorado Distillery of the Year at the New York Int’l Spirits Competition. In 2018, Breckenridge Distillery won the coveted Icons of Whisky for Brand Innovator of the Year. Since coming online in 2008 and releasing its first vodka and bourbon three years later, Breckenridge Distillery has quickly become an award-winning producer of fine spirits, being designated one of the top three bourbons in the U.S. How it all came to be, however, stems from a mix of just the right ingredients, a hint of luck and a deep love for quality whiskey.
David Meier, the owner of Glenns Creek Distilling, has always had a love for where things are made, how they are made, and the level of craftsmanship that went into their making. This love of creation was one of the driving forces behind his career in manufacturing and yearning to create something of his own. He happened upon the Old Crow Distillery. Seeing the exorbitant level of craftsmanship that went into the old buildings and seeing the state that they were in after being abandoned for 30 years brought up a mix of sadness for the current state and intrigue for what it must have been like in its prime. David started to research the history of The Old Crow Distillery to get a better feel of what role the old distillery played in the bourbon industry and Kentucky. He recreated a new bourbon produced in the style of Dr. Crow; something that Dr. Crow would drink and approve of. The road ahead to restore and preserve these great buildings is a long one, but one that everybody at the distillery is willing to undertake. 3501 McCracken Pike, Frankfort, KY 40601
THE NEW FRONTIER In 1987, Thomas E. Bulleit, Jr., fulfilled a lifelong dream of reviving an old family bourbon recipe by starting the Bulleit Distilling Company. Inspired by his great-great-grandfather Augustus Bulleit, who made a high-rye whiskey between 1830-1860, Tom left a successful law practice and risked everything to experience life on the frontier. Today, we’re not the only ones who are glad he did. A WHISKEY NEARLY LOST FOREVER A tavern keeper in 1830s Louisville, Kentucky, Augustus Bulleit was dedicated to a single goal: the creation of a bourbon unique in flavor. After experimenting with countless varieties, he finally came upon a bourbon with the character he had long sought after. One fateful day, while transporting his barrels of bourbon from Kentucky to New Orleans, Augustus Bulleit vanished. What happened is still unknown, and his creation nearly disappeared into history along with him. A LEGEND TODAY To this day, Bulleit™ Bourbon is distilled and aged in the Bulleit family tradition. High rye content gives it a bold, spicy character with a distinctively smooth, clean finish. Kentucky limestone-filtered water provides a foundation for the bourbon’s character, while charred American oak barrels lend a smoky backbone. Our aging philosophy is simple: […]

Based in Rapid City, SD, owner Jerry Sailer, of Rapid City, has turned a seven-generation, Sailer family recipe into reality by producing flavored liqueur in South Dakota. Jerry Sailer was educated in the art of “making alcohol” by his father when he was 15 years old. Jerry’s father also learned the art of “making alcohol” when he was 15. In fact, the five previous father and son relationships of the family shared the same bond. Making alcohol has been in our blood for a long time. The flavors you’re tasting today didn’t happen overnight. Contraband flavored liqueurs have been perfected from generation to generation. In fact, Jerry recalls the beverage his father passed onto him as tasting like “turpentine with a little lighter fluid thrown in for flavoring,” but, “it got the job done.” From that point on, Jerry’s dream was to own and open his own distillery. SMOOTH BOURBON Bourbon taste. No bourbon bite. It’s just dangerous. Contraband Smooth Bourbon is a bourbon-flavored liqueur that invokes all of your favorite bourbon tastes. Smoky Oak. Vanilla. Caramel. Spices. All of it in a flavored liqueur that always goes down smooth after hitting the tongue with a strong flavor. We promise […]
