Located in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country, overlooking Seneca Lake, Finger Lakes Distilling is the region's largest craft distillery. As a New York State Farm Distillery, we use locally grown fruit and grains to produce high quality, handmade spirits.
Finger Lakes Distilling offers comprehensive tours of our distillery every Saturday at 11 am from May 26th through November 24th. Join us for a walking tour through our production floor, barrel house and bottling operations, followed by a private tasting of 4 spirits of your choice with our owner or head distiller. Follow the path of our fresh local grains on their journey through our distillery to become timeless and traditional McKenzie Whiskeys.
Although the distillery is young, our vision is built on a foundation of tradition.
The design of our distillery is inspired by the classic style of Scottish whisky distilleries, with its white walls, black trim, and elegant pagoda roof.
Inside the distillery is spacious and sunlit, with the stills and barrels full of slowly aging whiskey viewable from the tasting room and store.
Keeping with our traditional vision, we believe in minimizing waste and using everything. Spent grains from fermentation are used by local farmers as animal feed. The oak floors of our distillery are reclaimed siding from a tobacco barn in Kentucky, and the wood bordering our tasting bar also used to be part of a local barn.
